Durian oh Durian.... Yum..Yum..Yum

Shakira absolutely loves durian. When she came back from Egypt in November she kept asking for Durian. Mama actually had to drive around Pasar Keramat at night to prove to her that there was no durian.

It was the same when she was small, she kept pestering Mak Lang our old babysitter for durian. That day Mama came home late from work and she insisted to go to Kijal. And that was in December. Again, Mama had to drive to the stalls and showed to her that the stalls were empty.

Tonight, mama wanted to eat the delicious satay near Esso gas station in Datuk Keramat. So, after YMed with Papa and kakak/abang in Egypt, we went to buy satay. Along, the way, passed by Pasar Keramat.

VOILA!

DURIAN....

So what else, after buying 10 chicken satay, 10 beef satay, 10 perut satay and 10 hati satay we bought durian.

Awfully expensive. RM9 per kilo. For d'light full Shakira....

Shakira is at Aquaria

The second week of school, Shakira already went to school by van. Very brave of her even though she was and still not familiar with the roads around Setiawangsa. Mama is proud of her. Muah <3>

Thus, she is rewarded by a trip to Aquaria KLCC. Look at her below, so cute wearing a pink cheongsam. She looks just like a Chinese girl... Here she is holding some coins so that she has enough money for the rides later. Mama doesnt have any excuse of not having enough change then.

This big fish could swallow little Shakira. She was not even afraid. When Mama was a small girl, heard stories that fish like that called Toman could eat a little girl...

Kak Fazat, Mama and Shakira sat very close to the glass watching the divers feeding the fish. Shakira attracted so much attention that the diver wanted to take a picture with her.

Shakira's 5th Birthday

Shakira has always wanted to have her birthday party at school. When she was at British School of Alexandria, she never had any. So, today Mama complied her Princess...

Mama asked Leeza Home Bakery to make cupcakes.

A day at KLCC

Shakira was good for her first week of school.

She didnt cry. She didnt make a fuss when waking up the morning. She got dressed cheerfully. Went to school happily.

The best hurdle was that she happily went back by van last Friday. She even told me that she met a girl named Aishah from the apartment.

So, Mama rewarded her by taking her to a day at KLCC park and Suria KLCC..

First day of school at Tadika Q Dees

Today is Shakira's first day at school.

Everything went smoothly. She woke up early. Bathed and dressed without fuss. Ate a little bit of breakfast and off she went to school so cheerful and cute in her grey uniform.

She didnt cry and she didnt even ask Mama to stay inside the class. She promptly sat herself amongst the girls and started colouring.

Mama saw that she even asked the teacher certain questions..

She already made friends today. She came home and said, "Adik suka main dengan Ashar." (I like playing with Ashar..)

Shakira cried and cried at the airport after sending her sisters and brother back to Egypt

On the New 2009 Year's Eve, she cried and cried when her sisters and brother went in the gates...She only stopped crying after finding out the fake polystyrene snow were spilling out of her pockets... poor girl
